Classic Juicy Beef Burger
Ingredients:
✅ For the Patties:
- 1 lb (450g) ground beef (80/20 fat ratio for juiciness)
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce (optional, for extra flavor)
✅ For the Toppings:
- 4 burger buns (brioche or sesame seed buns recommended)
- 4 slices cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or American)
- Lettuce leaves
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1 red onion, thinly sliced
- Pickles (optional)
✅ For the Burger Sauce:
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tsp mustard
- 1 tsp pickle relish (or finely chopped pickles)
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions:
1️⃣ Prepare the Patties:
- In a bowl, gently mix the ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and form them into patties, about 6.7 inches in diameter and 1.5 cm thick (perfect for your burger press!).
- Press a slight indent in the center of each patty with your thumb to prevent puffing up while cooking.
2️⃣ Cook the Patties:
- Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes per side (for medium doneness) or longer if you prefer well-done.
- In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty and let it melt.
